BIOGRAPHY

Welcome to my world. As an artist living and working in Stroud I have been painting all of my life. I studied at Cheltenham college drawing early inspiration from the work of Artemisia, Bernini & Caravaggio, the Italian Renaissance artists having a particular influence on my creative output.

 

I work predominantly with acrylics on canvas favouring vibrant and colourful large scale portrayals of the human form. My latest art show was a sell out success with all of the art on exhibit being sold on the night.

 

Exuberant depictions of coastal views and the beautiful countryside in and around the UK are fascinating me currently. My recent abstract canvases are reflecting this and thus have been the thrust of my latest 4 art shows. 

 

I have received several commissions both private and commercial and I am enthusiastic about my involvement in future projects with The Stroud Artists Cooperative.
